Samaï Brudmarsch (INGRIED BOUSSAROQUE)
The Samaï is a Turkish form of musical composition characterized by a rhythm in 10 and alternating khanat (verse) and taslim (refrain). Samaï Brudmarsch uses a melodic mode heard during a Swedish wedding procession. As is sometimes the case in Swedish music, the melodic scale contains quarter tones.
Le samaï est une forme de composition musicale d’origine turque. Il se caractérise par un rythme en 10 et l’alternance de khanat (couplets) et d’un taslim (refrain). Le Samaï Brudmarsch utilise un mode entendu dans une marche nuptiale suédoise. Comme c’est parfois le cas dans la musique suédoise, cette gamme comporte un quart de ton.
